Synopsis
"Desperate" is a visual journey through the life and the secrets of the women during the McCarthy Era and a musical tribute to the pioneer of techno music Bruce Haack, with the aid of film cut-up, audio speeches and old style electronic music; an ironic trip into the american '50ies home walls that uncovers repressions and anguishes of ever-smiling housewifes and impeccable mothers. The interests in in '50ies and '60ies aesthetic, both in its patinated and morbid aspects, connects the artistic distance between Besegher and Blanche. Sound is edited by the musician Flushing Device.
